Grant Checklist
Use this checklist to help guide you through the process of applying for a grant from the NMHRAB. Please use this checklist as a guideline only. Incomplete application packages shall disqualify your application from consideration.
___ 1. Review grant guidelines at: https://www.srca.nm.gov/nmhrab/regrant-program
___ 2. Confirm Eligibility
□ State agency
□ Local or tribal government
□ Political subdivision
□ Non-profit organization
□ Public school, public college or public university
___ 3. Funding Priorities: Project meets funding priorities established by the NMHRAB.
___ 4. Completed Application Form (signed and unstapled original, and ten copies). Application includes:
□ Proof on Non-profit status attached.
□ DUNS Number noted on Application Form
□ Verification that records to be affected by the proposed grant project are original records, or facsimile thereof (identify the records and their provenance).
□ Completion of application narrative..
□ Deliverables clearly identified.
□ Project work plan completed.
□ Summary budget page and budget worksheets noting costs computation and evidence of adherence to State of New Mexico procurement and travel procedures.
□ Identify contractual services to be used and the vendor qualifications.
□ Signature of Authorized Individual.
___ 5. Resume: Copy of resume for each project team member attached.
___ 6. For Previous NMHRAB Grant recipients: Applicant is in compliance with all previous award stipulations
___ 7. Optional: Letters of support for the project from knowledgeable members of the community to be served.
