NOTICE
OF PUBLIC HEARING FOR RULEMAKING
The New Mexico Gaming Control Board (NMGCB) has
scheduled a public hearing to consider changes to rules governing the Bingo and
Raffle Act for Friday, March 27, 2020 at 9:00 AM at the NMGCB Board Room, which
is an accessible facility, at 4900 Alameda Boulevard NE, Albuquerque, NM
87113. If you are an individual with a
disability who is in need of a reader, amplifier, qualified sign language
interpreter, or any form of auxiliary aid or service to attend or participate
in the meeting, please call Erin Thompson at (505) 841-9707 by March 24, 2020
or as soon as possible. Public
documents, including the agenda and minutes, can be provided in various
accessible formats.
The GCB hearing officer may consider the following rulemaking

At the hearing, the hearing officer will take oral
and written comments related to the rulemaking actions listed above and during
the meeting, consider public input in order to make a recommendation to the
board for action with regard to proposed rules.
Gaming Control Board members will consider and take action on the
hearing officer’s recommendations at a subsequent board meeting.
Interested persons may submit comments on the
proposed rules at the rule hearing or may submit written comments via email at GCB-Rules@state.nm.us. Written comments must be received no later
than 5:00 PM on March 26, 2020. If
submitting written comments by email, please indicate in the subject line the
number of each rule(s) for which you are providing comments. The agency will post written comments on its
website as soon as practicable and no more than 3 business days following
receipt to allow for public review. All
written comments received by NMGCB shall also be available for public
inspection at the NMGCB office. Persons
offering written comments at the hearing must have eight (8) copies for the
hearing officer and the board (at a later date) to review. Oral comments will also be accepted at the
rule hearing, subject to time limitations.

the Public Records Act, Section 14-3-1, et seq., and in the State Rules Act,
Section 14-4-1, et seq., NMSA 1978.
